MUET Programme

This course is specially tailored for MUET candidates. in line with the implementation of the CEFR, changes in the test specifications of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing are aligned to meet the purpose and aim of MUET as a relevant and reliable English Language proficiency test. The familiarisation of the new MUET format is a crucial step for students to prepare for the test.

In this course, the notes and practices reflect the requirements of the CEFR in the four components, and the question types are carefully prepared following the latest MUET format specified by the Majlis Peperiksaan Malaysia (MPM). A model test that is similar to the test specifications is provided, as well as complete answers for easy self-assessment.


MUET COURSE COMPONENTS

  • Notes: Provided weekly by the tutor. Prepared following the latest MUET format.

 

 

  • Class Participation: Try your best to come to all your classes and participate in them.

 

 

  • Quizzes: Your tutor will administer mini-tests to track your progress.

 

  • Tasks: Your tutor may give you small individual assignments and homework.

 

  • Telegram: A support group! To update regularly on readings, assignment schedules, and grading. 

 


UPON COMPLETION
Upon successful completion of the course, students will be able to:

  • Develop test-taking strategies specifically for MUET

Writing (Task 2) - Working from home has become a new norm. Write an essay expressing your opinion on the statement.

Speaking (Task 2) - People like to spend their holidays abroad. In your group, discuss the reasons for going abroad for holidays.
Writing (Task 2) - Write an essay discussing three benefits of teaching gardening to young children.

Speaking - Water is essential and what are the different uses of water?
Writing -  Read an email about a farewell party and write a reply of at least 100 words in an appropriate style.
